Rail Coach Factory (RCF) Kapurthala, has released notification for the recruitment of 550 Apprentices posts. Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala is one of India’s premier railway coach manufacturing units, owned and operated by Indian Railways. It plays a central role in designing, developing, and producing passenger rolling stock for the nation’s vast rail network. | Merit-Based Selection | Selection will be based on a merit list prepared from the percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate) and ITI marks in the relevant trade. The panel will be prepared on the basis of the simple average of Matriculation and ITI marks. |
| Marks Calculation | For Matriculation, marks obtained in all subjects will be considered. For ITI, marks mentioned in the provisional/final certificate will be reckoned. |
| Tie-Breaking Criteria | In case of equal marks, the candidate of older age will be preferred. If dates of birth are also the same, the candidate who passed the Matriculation examination earlier will be given preference. |
| Final Merit List | A final merit list will be prepared trade-wise and community-wise, equal to the number of slots, in descending order of percentage of marks. |
| Document Verification & Medical Examination | Candidates finally enlisted will be subject to verification of original testimonials and must be found medically fit. The medical certificate should be signed by a Government-authorised doctor not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon of a Central/State Hospital. |
