AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2026-Apply for 205 Posts
Airports Authority of India (AAI), Northern Region has released Advertisement No. 01/2026/APPRENTICE/GRADUATE/DIPLOMA/ITI/NR for engagement of Graduate, Diploma and ITI Apprentices for the year 2026-27. A total of 205 apprenticeship seats are available, including 80 Graduate Apprentices, 65 Diploma Apprentices and 60 ITI Trade Apprentices. Eligible candidates domiciled in specified Northern Region states and Union Territories who passed their degree or diploma in 2024 or later can apply. The apprenticeship training will be for one year at various airports and establishments under AAI Northern Region. The last date for application is 16 September 2026.

Only Indian Nationals who are domiciles of Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Leh Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand are eligible. Candidates must have passed the required degree or diploma in 2024 or after 2024. Graduate and Diploma candidates must possess a full-time regular four-year degree or three-year regular diploma in the relevant engineering discipline recognized by AICTE, Government of India. ITI candidates must possess an ITI/NCVT certificate in the relevant trade from an institution recognized by AICTE, Government of India. The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 26 years as on 16 September 2026, with applicable relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories.

AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 does not involve a written examination. Provisional selection will be made on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. In case of equal percentage, date of birth and thereafter date of passing will be considered for seniority. Shortlisted eligible candidates will be called through registered email for interview and document verification. Final selection will be based on interview, verification of certificates and submission of a medical fitness certificate.

Airports Authority of India, Northern Region has invited applications for 205 Graduate, Diploma and ITI Apprentices for the 2026-27 apprenticeship training programme. The seats comprise 80 Graduate Apprentices, 65 Diploma/Technician Apprentices and 60 ITI Trade Apprentices. Candidates shortlisted on merit will be called through registered email for interview and document verification. Final selection will be made after verification of original documents and submission of a medical fitness certificate. Selected candidates will receive an apprenticeship engagement letter and must sign the apprenticeship training contract on the NATS/NAPS portal.

Graduate Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of โน15,000, comprising the AAI share and Government share through DBT. Diploma/Technical Apprentices will receive โน12,000 per month, while ITI Trade Apprentices will receive โน9,600 per month. The apprenticeship training period is 12 months.
