| Phase I – Online Screening Examination | An online screening examination will be conducted in 8 Engineering OCES disciplines (Codes 21–28) and 5 Science OCES disciplines (Codes 41–43, 45 & 46) at multiple exam centers across India as per the notified schedule. No travel allowance will be paid for appearing in this examination. |
| Phase II – GATE Based Shortlisting | Candidates possessing the relevant qualifying degree and meeting eligibility criteria may also be shortlisted for selection interview based on valid GATE-2024, GATE-2025 or GATE-2026 score in the applicable discipline. |
| Selection Interviews | Shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interviews. Interviews for all disciplines except Geology and Geophysics will be conducted at BARC Training School, Mumbai. Interviews for Geology and Geophysics will be held in Hyderabad. |
| Final Selection | Final selection will be based on performance in the screening process and interview, subject to fulfillment of eligibility conditions and verification of original documents. |
