| Selection Basis | Selection of candidates will be based on the percentage of marks scored in the Intermediate Examination (total of both groups) of CA/CMA, as applicable. |
| Merit Preparation | Selection will be strictly on merit ranking based on marks obtained in the Intermediate Exam, following Government reservation policy and giving preference to Land Owners and wards of employees. |
| Posting Criteria | Posting will be done based on the preference of location submitted by candidates and their seniority position in the Merit List. |
| Tie-Breaking Rule | In case of a tie in marks, seniority will be decided based on Date of Birth, with the older candidate ranked higher. If the Date of Birth is also the same, the candidate with higher marks in Class X will be preferred. |
| Waiting List | A Waiting List Panel of 125 additional trainees will be prepared. Reservation guidelines of Government of India will be followed for the Waiting List. |
| Utilization of Waiting List | In case of shortfall in joining from the main selection panel, the shortfall for the respective category will be filled from the Waiting List Panel. |
