Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a premier Miniratna Schedule 'A' Company of Government of India, has released a vacancy notification for Ship Draftsman Trainees in Mechanical and Electrical disciplines. A total of 60 seats are available, including 47 seats for Ship Draftsman Trainee (Mechanical) and 13 seats for Ship Draftsman Trainee (Electrical). Eligible candidates with SSLC and the prescribed three-year Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks and CAD proficiency can apply online. The training period is two years and trainees will receive a monthly stipend of โน14,000 in the first year and โน20,000 in the second year. Selection will be based on a Practical Test of 100 marks involving preparation of a drawing using CAD software at CSL, Kochi.
