Candidates must possess the educational qualifications and experience prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and ESIC for the respective Faculty or Senior Resident post. For Senior Resident posts, candidates must possess the prescribed postgraduate medical qualification in the concerned specialty. For Super Specialty Departments, DM/M.Ch/DrNB qualifications are applicable, while candidates from the concerned parent broad specialty may be considered where Super Specialty Senior Residents are unavailable. Faculty posts require the qualifications and teaching experience prescribed under the Medical Institutions (Qualifications of Faculty) Regulations, 2025. DNB qualifications are treated as equivalent to the corresponding MD/MS or DM/M.Ch under the conditions specified by NMC.

ESIC Medical College Hospital, Sanathnagar, Hyderabad has announced 67 contractual vacancies comprising Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Senior Resident and Senior Resident (1 Yr) positions across various medical specialties. The vacancies are distributed as 9 SC, 3 ST, 16 OBC, 33 UR and 6 EWS.

Selection will be made on the basis of performance in the Walk-in Interview before the Selection Board. The result will be displayed on the ESIC website. Selected candidates must join immediately after receiving the offer of appointment. Joining is subject to detailed scrutiny of eligibility conditions and production of prescribed certificates.

Professor will receive consolidated remuneration of ₹2,59,515 per month. Associate Professor will receive ₹1,72,572 per month. Assistant Professor and Senior Resident (1 Yr) will receive ₹1,48,263 per month. Senior Resident will receive 7th CPC salary at Level-11 with basic pay of ₹67,700 plus applicable DA, NPA, HRA and other allowances. Approximate total monthly earnings for Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor/Senior Resident (1 Yr) are ₹2,71,035, ₹1,84,092 and ₹1,59,783 respectively.

The application fee is NIL for SC/ST candidates, female candidates, Ex-servicemen and PH candidates. Candidates belonging to all other categories are required to pay ₹500. The fee is collected through the online SB Collect payment system at the venue during registration / document verification. The fee once paid will not be refunded.

Candidates must attend the Walk-in Interview on the date specified against the concerned department and report between 09:00 AM and 10:30 AM. Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format downloaded from the ESIC recruitment website. Candidates must bring original documents and self-attested copies supporting age, educational qualification, experience and other eligibility claims. Candidates applying for multiple cadres in the same department must submit separate applications. Candidates reporting after the scheduled reporting time will not be permitted to attend the interview.

Candidates must bring two copies of recent self-attested passport-size photographs, self-attested copies of certificates and testimonials supporting date of birth, educational qualification, experience, research papers and publications, and original certificates and testimonials for verification. Original documents relating to age, educational qualification, experience, research papers, publications and PG course recognition must be produced at the Walk-in Interview. Candidates claiming EWS, OBC, SC or ST reservation must produce the prescribed certificates issued by the competent authority.
