| Computer Based Test (CBT) Structure | CBT, wherever applicable, will consist of objective-type questions (subjective questions also for Legal and HR Officer posts) and will be conducted in two parts: Part I – General Aptitude (English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation) and Part II – Technical/Professional Knowledge related to the qualifying degree or educational background required for the post. |
| CBT Date and Syllabus | The Computer Based Test is tentatively scheduled to be conducted on 3rd May 2026. HPCL reserves the right to reschedule the CBT. Questions will be based on the indicative syllabus hosted on the Careers page of the HPCL website and may include questions from the relevant and allied domains of the qualifying degree. |
