NFR Act Apprentice Recruitment 2026 for 6777 Posts
Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has released the Centralized Notification for engagement of 6777 Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the training session 2025-26 and 2026-27. Eligible ITI qualified candidates can apply online for apprenticeship training in various Divisions, Workshops and Units of Northeast Frontier Railway. Selection will be based entirely on academic merit without any written examination.

| Educational Qualification | Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th Class Examination) or its equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognized Board. |

Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for imparting apprenticeship training in various Divisions, Workshops and Units. Candidates possessing Matriculation with ITI in the relevant trade are eligible to apply. For Medical Laboratory Technician trades, candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

A total of 6777 Act Apprentice training slots have been notified across eight Divisions, Workshops and Units of Northeast Frontier Railway.

Candidates will be shortlisted unit-wise, trade-wise and community-wise on the basis of academic merit followed by document verification and medical fitness.
