IBPS CSA Clerk XVI Recruitment 2026 Notification for Customer Service Associate (Clerk) Posts
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the short notification for Common Recruitment Process (CRP CSA-XVI) for the recruitment of Customer Service Associates (Clerks) in participating Public Sector Banks for vacancies of 2027-28. Eligible graduates can submit their online applications from 1 August 2026 to 21 August 2026. | Customer Service Associate (Clerk) | Bachelor's Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Candidates must possess the qualification on or before the prescribed eligibility date. |
| Computer Knowledge | Candidates should have operating and working knowledge of computer systems. A Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Computer Operations/Language or Computer/Information Technology as one of the subjects in High School, College or Institute is desirable. |
| Local Language Proficiency | Candidates must be proficient (reading, writing and speaking) in the Official/Local Language of the State or Union Territory for which they are applying. A Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) may be conducted wherever applicable. |
| Nationality | A candidate must be either (i) a Citizen of India, (ii) a Subject of Nepal, (iii) a Subject of Bhutan, (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Candidates belonging to categories other than Indian Citizens must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India. |
Candidates having a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University along with proficiency in the local language of the participating State/UT are eligible to apply. Basic computer knowledge is desirable.
