| Agniveervayu Non-Combatant | Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination from an Education Board recognized by the Central Government, State Government or Union Territory as on the date of registration. |

| Dental Standards | Healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points are required. Candidates with dental implants or orthodontic appliances are not eligible. |
| General Health | Candidate should be physically and mentally fit, free from communicable diseases, chronic illness and other medical disabilities as per Indian Air Force standards. |
| Tattoo Policy | Permanent tattoos are permitted only on the inner face of the forearms, back of the hand or as permitted for tribal candidates. Offensive or obscene tattoos are prohibited. |
Unmarried male Indian candidates who have passed Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board and satisfy the prescribed age and medical standards are eligible to apply.
