Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme 125 Course (April 2027) Notification for 70 SSC Officer Posts
The Indian Army has invited online applications from unmarried male candidates for the NCC Special Entry Scheme 125 Course (April 2027) for grant of Short Service Commission (Non-Technical). A total of 70 vacancies have been announced, including vacancies for Wards of Battle Casualties of Indian Army Personnel. Eligible NCC 'C' Certificate holders possessing a Bachelor's Degree can apply online from 20 July 2026 to 20 August 2026. The recruitment process includes shortlisting, Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview, Medical Examination and training at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai before commissioning as Lieutenant.

Unmarried male candidates aged 19 to 25 years possessing a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University with at least two/three years of service in the Senior Division/Wing of NCC and a minimum 'B' Grade in NCC 'C' Certificate are eligible to apply. Wards of Battle Casualties of Indian Army Personnel are also eligible under the prescribed criteria.

Selected candidates will be commissioned as Lieutenant in Pay Level-10 with salary ranging from Rs.56,100 to Rs.1,77,500 plus Military Service Pay of Rs.15,500 per month, Dearness Allowance and several military allowances. During training at OTA Chennai, cadets will receive a stipend of Rs.56,100 per month.
