The Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued Advertisement Notification No. 08 of 2026 for recruitment to 518 UT, Divisional and District Cadre posts in various Government Departments of Jammu & Kashmir. The vacancies are available in the Agriculture Production Department, Health & Medical Education Department, Higher Education Department and Labour & Employment Department. Eligible domiciles of Jammu & Kashmir possessing the prescribed educational qualifications can submit online applications from 10 September 2026 to 09 October 2026. Candidates must be domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and possess a valid Domicile Certificate on or before the closing date of application. Selection for all advertised posts shall be made purely on the basis of merit obtained in the Objective Type Written/OMR Examination conducted by JKSSB. The examination will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions in English only with negative marking of one-fourth marks for every wrong answer.

The Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released Advertisement Notification No. 08 of 2026 inviting online applications for 518 UT, Divisional and District Cadre posts under the Agriculture Production Department, Health & Medical Education Department, Higher Education Department and Labour & Employment Department. The recruitment includes various technical, paramedical and administrative posts across different districts of Jammu & Kashmir.

Selected candidates will receive salary according to the Pay Level prescribed for the respective post. The notification includes posts carrying Pay Levels ranging from SL-2 (Rs.15,900-50,400) to Level-6D (Rs.35,800-1,13,200). In addition to basic pay, employees will receive Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance and other allowances as per the Government of Jammu & Kashmir rules.
