| Stage-I Preliminary Examination | Objective type examination with two papers, qualifying in nature. Paper I (General Studies): 100 questions for 200 marks, duration 2 hours. Paper II (General Aptitude Test/CSAT): 80 questions for 200 marks, duration 2 hours. |
| Negative Marking | One-third (1/3) mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in the Preliminary Examination. |
| Shortlisting for Main Examination | Candidates who qualify the Preliminary Examination will be eligible to appear in the Main Examination. |
| Stage-II Main Examination | Written examination consisting of multiple papers on various subjects as prescribed in the syllabus. |
| Stage-III Interview / Personality Test | Candidates qualifying the Main Examination will be called for Interview/Personality Test. |
| Final Merit & Appointment | Final selection will be based on combined marks of the Main Examination and Interview. Merit list will be prepared category-wise. Appointment is subject to document verification and medical fitness. |
