Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Company under the Ministry of Defence, has invited applications for Havildar (Security) posts at its Kotdwar Unit on a permanent basis. A total of 5 vacancies are available for eligible ex-servicemen candidates possessing SSLC qualification and 15 years of service experience in the Indian Armed Forces. Selection will be through a Physical Endurance Test followed by a Written Test.

| Havildar (Security) | Passed SSLC (10th) from a recognized Board. Must have 15 years of service experience in the Indian Armed Forces. Candidates must be Indian citizens and should have passed SSLC (10th). They must have 15 years of service experience in the Indian Armed Forces, an Exemplary/Very Good service record and medical category AYE/SHAPE-I. Registration with the District Sainik Welfare Board is mandatory. Ability to speak, read and write Hindi/English is essential. Fire training and possession of a driving licence are desirable.

The selection process consists of a Physical Endurance Test followed by a Written Test. Candidates who qualify in the Physical Endurance Test will be shortlisted for the Written Test. Both tests will be conducted at Kotdwar, Uttarakhand.

Eligible candidates will first be shortlisted for the selection process. Candidates must qualify the Physical Endurance Test to be shortlisted for the Written Test. The Physical Endurance Test and Written Test will be conducted at Kotdwar, Uttarakhand. Final appointment is subject to fulfilling all eligibility conditions and being declared medically fit in the Pre-Employment Medical Examination.

Havildar (Security) is placed in Wage Group-III / Career Path-III with a pay scale of ₹20,500 – 3% – ₹79,000 plus admissible allowances. The remuneration package also includes DA, HRA, perquisites at 30% of annual basic pay, medical expense reimbursement, Group Insurance, PF, Pension and Gratuity as per BEL rules.
