ESIC Goa Teaching Faculty & Senior Resident Recruitment 2026
Employees' State Insurance Corporation has invited eligible candidates for time-bound recruitment of Teaching Faculty and Senior Resident positions on contract basis at the proposed ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Margao, Goa. The engagement is initially for one year with provision for renewal based on satisfactory performance, willingness and institutional requirements. Eligible candidates can appear for the scheduled walk-in interview or opt for the online interview facility subject to the prescribed advance submission requirements.

| Professor | MD/MS/DNB in the concerned specialty as per NMC (MCI) TEQ, with the prescribed teaching/clinical experience. Candidates working as Senior Consultant in an NBE/DNB Institute with the required teaching experience may also be eligible as per the revised criteria. |
| Associate Professor | MD/MS/DNB in the concerned specialty with the prescribed experience. Candidates with the experience specified under the revised NMC eligibility criteria may also be eligible. |
| Assistant Professor | MD/MS/DNB in the concerned specialty with the prescribed experience. Candidates with eligible PG Diploma qualifications and the required specialty experience may also apply as per the revised NMC criteria. |

| General Eligibility | Candidates must have updated Medical Council registration with all post-MBBS/MD/MS qualifications. Candidates without updated registration must show proof that registration documents have been applied for, subject to the conditions specified in the notification. |
Candidates must possess the educational qualifications prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC) for the respective Teaching Faculty or Senior Resident post. Generally, Teaching Faculty posts require the prescribed MBBS with MD/MS/DNB or other applicable postgraduate qualifications and experience, while Senior Resident posts require the prescribed postgraduate qualification. For certain non-clinical subjects, candidates with M.Sc. and Ph.D. from a Medical/Health Sciences University are also eligible as specified. The eligibility cut-off date is 31 August 2026.

There is no written examination. Selection is based on the candidate's academic credentials and performance in an interview before the Selection Board. Interview fee is ₹500 for candidates belonging to categories other than SC/ST, Female, ESIC Regular Employees, Defence Ex-Servicemen and PH candidates. The exempted categories do not have to pay the interview fee. The fee is payable through Demand Draft in favour of ESI Fund Account No. 2, payable at SBI, Panjim, Goa, and once paid it is non-refundable.
