Candidates must possess the prescribed full-time regular educational qualification from a recognized University/UGC accredited institution, AICTE-approved institute or Government-recognized board, as applicable to the post. The recruitment includes Specialist Officer positions in Grade/Scale-I, II and III. The prescribed age is 21 to 32 years for Grade/Scale-I posts, 25 to 35 years for most Grade/Scale-II posts, and 25 to 38 years for Grade/Scale-III posts, with the Manager-Security Officer having a maximum age of 35 years. Post-qualification experience is mandatory for the specified Manager and Senior Manager positions and desirable for several Scale-I positions.

The Nainital Bank Specialist Officer online examination consists of five objective tests: Reasoning, English Language, General Awareness with special reference to Banking, Professional Knowledge and Quantitative Aptitude. Each test contains 40 questions and carries 40 marks, making a total of 200 questions and 200 marks. The total examination duration is 145 minutes. The Professional Knowledge test is specific to the relevant post. There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

The vacancies include Risk Officer, HR Officer, IT Officer, Data Scientist/Data Analyst, Civil Engineer/Architect, Manager-Credit, Manager-Law, Manager-Risk, Manager-Company Secretary, Manager-Security Officer, Senior Manager-Credit, Senior Manager-Forex Officer, Senior Manager-Treasury and Senior Manager-Law.

Candidates will be shortlisted through the online written examination and subsequently called for Personal Interview. Successful candidates based on the online written test and interview will be issued appointment letters for joining the Specialist Cadre, subject to medical fitness and fulfillment of all prescribed eligibility conditions. Officers in Grade/Scale-I have a pay scale of ₹48,480-2,000/7-₹62,480-2,340/2-₹67,160-2,680/7-₹85,920. Managers in Grade/Scale-II have a pay scale of ₹64,820-2,340/1-₹67,160-2,680/10-₹93,960. Senior Managers in Grade/Scale-III have a pay scale of ₹85,920-2,680/5-₹99,320-2,980/2-₹1,05,280.

The application fee/intimation charges for Specialist Officer posts in Scale-I, II and III is ₹1,500 including GST. Bank transaction charges for online payment are to be borne separately by the candidate. The application fee is non-refundable.

Candidates can apply online only from 15 August 2026 to 07 September 2026. A candidate can apply for only one post. In case of multiple applications, only the latest valid completed application will be retained and fees paid for other registrations will be forfeited. Candidates must possess the prescribed full-time regular qualification and meet the age and experience requirements as on 01 August 2026. Selected candidates can be posted or subsequently transferred to any existing or proposed Branch/Office of the Bank according to banking requirements.
