| Stage 1 | Candidates fulfilling the prescribed eligibility criteria and successfully registering their application on the NIC portal will be considered for selection. |
| Stage 2 | Category-wise merit list will be prepared separately for each discipline in the order of GATE score. |
| Stage 3 | Equal weightage will be given to GATE 2024, GATE 2025 and GATE 2026 scores. |
| Stage 4 | Candidates shortlisted according to vacancies will be called for document verification. |
| Stage 5 | Candidates must appear for document verification with all original documents at the specified date, time and place. |

Selection will be based on the prescribed eligibility criteria and GATE score. Category-wise merit lists will be prepared for each discipline. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and eligible candidates will thereafter be offered provisional appointment.
