POWERGRID Apprenticeship Recruitment 2026
Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), a Maharatna Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Power, has invited online applications for one-year apprenticeship training under its Northern Region-I. A total of 35 training slots are available across Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand for ITI Electrician, Diploma Electrical, Diploma Civil, Graduate Electrical and Graduate Civil trades. Eligible candidates who have passed their qualifying examination within the prescribed two-year period can apply online from 25 August 2026 to 10 September 2026. There is no written examination or interview, and candidates will be shortlisted on merit followed by document verification.

POWERGRID Northern Region-I has notified 35 apprenticeship training slots across Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The trades include ITI Electrician, Diploma Electrical, Diploma Civil, Graduate Electrical and Graduate Civil. Delhi has 8 slots, Haryana 16 slots, Uttar Pradesh 6 slots and Uttarakhand 5 slots.

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹13,500 for ITI Electrician, ₹15,000 for Diploma Electrical and Diploma Civil, and ₹17,500 for Graduate Electrical and Graduate Civil. The Diploma stipend includes ₹5,450 Government of India DBT under the NATS scheme, while the Graduate stipend includes ₹6,150 DBT. An additional ₹2,500 per month is payable where company accommodation is not provided or availed.
