Indian Overseas Bank has invited online applications for recruitment of 250 Local Bank Officers in JMGS-I for Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujarat. Eligible graduates aged 20 to 30 years can apply online from 08 August 2026 to 24 August 2026. Candidates must be proficient in the specified local language of the State applied for. Selection will be through Online Examination, Language Proficiency Test wherever applicable and Personal Interview.

Selection will consist of an Online Examination followed by Language Proficiency Test (LPT), wherever applicable, and Personal Interview. The Online Examination contains 140 objective questions for 200 marks with a total duration of 3 hours and separate sectional timings.

Indian Overseas Bank has released Advertisement No. HRDD/RECT/02/2026-27 dated 07 August 2026 for recruitment of 250 Local Bank Officers in JMGS-I for Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujarat. Selected candidates will be posted in the State applied for.

Local Bank Officers will be appointed as Assistant Managers in Scale-I with Basic Pay of Rs.48,480-85,920. The pay scale is Rs.48,480-2,000/7-62,480-2,340/2-67,160-2,680/7-85,920. DA, HRA, CCA and other applicable allowances will be provided as per Bank rules. One advance increment may be granted for each prior completed year of service as an Officer in Scheduled Commercial Banks, subject to a maximum of 2 increments and the conditions prescribed by the Bank.
