ISRO SAC Recruitment 2026
The Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad, a leading centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), has released the notification for ISRO SAC Recruitment 2026 for 48 temporary research positions. The recruitment includes Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Research Associate (RA) and Project Scientist-I posts in specialised areas such as semiconductor technology, electronics, RF and microwave, photonics, atmospheric sciences, oceanography, geophysics, artificial intelligence, remote sensing, GIS, hydrology, ecology and environmental sciences. Eligible candidates with relevant M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc. or Ph.D. qualifications can apply online through the SAC recruitment portal. JRF applicants under Post Codes 01 to 07 must additionally possess a valid CSIR-UGC NET, GATE or prescribed national-level examination qualification. ISRO Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad has invited online applications from eligible Indian nationals for temporary positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Research Associate (RA) and Project Scientist-I (PS-I). Educational qualifications range from M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc. in specified disciplines to Ph.D. qualifications depending on the post. JRF applicants for Post Codes 01 to 07 must additionally qualify CSIR-UGC NET, GATE or a prescribed national-level examination. The prescribed M.E./M.Tech. qualification requires a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA, while M.Sc./B.E./B.Tech. qualifications require a minimum of 65% marks or 6.84 CGPA, wherever applicable.

A total of 48 temporary positions are notified by ISRO Space Applications Centre, Ahmedabad, comprising 33 Junior Research Fellow positions, 9 Research Associate positions and 6 Project Scientist-I positions across 16 post codes.
