PFRDA Grade A Assistant Manager Recruitment 2026
The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has released the official notification for Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) Recruitment 2026 for eligible Indian citizens. A total of 30 vacancies have been announced across General, Research, Actuary and Official Language (Rajbhasha) streams, offering an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking a regulatory-sector career in the pension industry. Eligible candidates with the prescribed academic or professional qualifications can apply online through the PFRDA careers portal from 03 September 2026 to 24 September 2026. The recruitment process will consist of Phase I Screening Examination, Phase II Online Examination and Phase III Interview, with final selection based on Phase II and Interview performance. PFRDA has invited applications for Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) in General, Research, Actuary and Official Language (Rajbhasha) streams. The General stream requires a Master's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma of minimum two years in any discipline, Bachelor's Degree in Law or Engineering, or specified professional qualifications such as ACA/FCA, ACS/FCS, ACMA/FCMA or CFA. The Research stream requires prescribed Master's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma qualifications in Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Econometrics, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and related fields. The Actuary stream requires graduation and passing or exemption in all seven Core Principles subjects of the Institute of Actuaries of India examination. PFRDA Grade A selection consists of three stages: Phase I online Screening Examination, Phase II online Examination and Phase III Interview. Phase I contains two papers of 100 marks each. Paper 1 is common to all streams and covers English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Test of Reasoning and General Awareness including Financial Sector. Paper 2 contains stream-specific subjects. Phase II also contains two papers of 100 marks each: Paper 1 is an English Descriptive Test and Paper 2 is stream-specific objective testing. There is one-fourth negative marking in Phase I Papers 1 and 2 and Phase II Paper 2. Final selection is based on Phase II marks with 85% weightage and Interview with 15% weightage.

PFRDA has announced a total of 30 Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) vacancies. The vacancies comprise 25 General stream posts, 2 Research stream posts, 2 Actuary stream posts and 1 Official Language (Rajbhasha) stream post. The total reservation breakup is 5 SC, 2 ST, 8 OBC, 3 EWS and 12 UR/GEN, with PwBD reservation indicated horizontally within the vacancies.

Officer Grade A carries a pay scale of โน62,500โโน1,26,100 over 17 years. Presently, gross emoluments including PFRDA's contribution towards NPS, Grade Allowance, Special Allowance, Special Grade Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Local Allowance, Family Allowance, Special Compensatory Allowance, Learning Allowance and Housing Allowance are approximately โน2,05,000 per month at the minimum of the scale.
