UPESSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2026
The Uttar Pradesh Education Services Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj has released Advertisement No. 04/2026 for the recruitment of Assistant Professors in aided co-educational and women's degree colleges across Uttar Pradesh. A total of 1,936 Assistant Professor vacancies have been announced across 42 subjects including Hindi, English, Economics, Sociology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Commerce, History, Geography, Political Science, Education, Law, Agriculture and other disciplines. The UPESSC Assistant Professor selection process consists of a written examination followed by an interview. The written examination carries 360 marks and contains 120 objective multiple-choice questions. Out of 120 questions, 30 questions are based on General Knowledge and 90 questions are based on the concerned subject. The written examination is of 2 hours duration.
