APPSC Common Recruitment Examination 2026
Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released Advertisement No. 04/2026 for the Common Recruitment Examination for Group-A and Group-B Gazetted (Technical) Posts-2026 (Part-I). A total of 155 vacancies are available for Agriculture Development Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Veterinary Officer, Assistant Director (Sericulture) and Dairy Development Officer under the Government of Arunachal Pradesh. Eligible candidates can apply online from 10 September 2026 at 1700 hours until 30 September 2026 at 1700 hours. Candidates should carefully check the prescribed PRC, APST, tribal language, educational qualification and age requirements before applying.

Candidates must be citizens of India and satisfy the mandatory Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC), Indigenous Status/APST and Indigenous Tribal Language Proficiency criteria. Post-wise educational qualifications apply. Minimum age is 21 years and maximum age is 35 years as on 30 September 2026, with prescribed relaxations.

Selection comprises written examination and viva-voce. Candidates need the prescribed aggregate and paper-wise minimum marks for viva-voce. About three times the vacancies may be called for viva-voce. A 200-mark objective Recruitment Test may be used as a screening test when required; its marks are not counted in final merit.
